Pro-monarchs Clash With Police In Nepal Demanding Reinstatement Of Monarchy And Hindu State
Thousands of pro-monarchists, led by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), a right-wing pro-monarch party in Nepal, are marching in Kathmandu, Nepal, on April 9, 2024. They are covering a major road section. Rajendra Lingden, the Chairman of RPP, is leading thousands of cadres and pro-monarchists who are clashing with security personnel in Kathmandu. The march is turning violent after they attempted to enter a restricted zone near Singha Durbar, the administrative capital of the Himalayan Nation.
