The inaugural "Hong Kong Reading Week" kicked off on Saturday at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, aiming to ignite public interest in reading.
This initiative is part of the broader annual "Hong Kong Reading for All Day," designated by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government, which is scheduled to take place every April 23.
Organized by the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Publishing Federation (HKPF), the event offers a diverse range of activities both online and offline, catering to all age groups.
