Golu Devta Temple
People are visiting the Golu Devta Temple, also known as the Bell Temple, in Ghorakhal, Uttarakhand, India, on April 20, 2024. They are praying to Golu Devta, the deity revered by the Kumaoni and Garhwali communities, to deliver justice and remove obstacles from their lives. Devotees are hanging bells, with or without their written pleas, to the poles of the temple, and if their pleas are granted, they will return with larger bells. Brass alloy bells are being sold at the shops outside the temple that specialize in puja items. (Photo by Creative Touch Imaging Ltd./NurPhoto)
