US: More Than 200 Arrested, Riot Police Moves Into Pro-Palestine Encampment At UCLA 3
Pro-Palestine protests and encampment continued at UCLA on Thursday, May 2 despite a ban on tents declared by the school. On early Thursday morning, riot police with gear moved into the campus and started taking down barricade and tents while deploying tear gas and launching flares on demonstrators. More than 200 were arrested during the operation.
