Border Conflict Between Armenia And Azerbaijan

The residents of several Armenian communities in northeast Tavush Province began protests late on April 19 after Armenia and Azerbaijan authorities announced a border delimitation deal where Azerbaijan will regain control of four former Azeri populated villages which have been abandoned since the early 1990s. Tensions have also continued to rise in both Voskepar and Kirants as villagers are not allowing NSS to define the villages in preparation for the surrender of some Armenian villages and ceding of land to Azerbaijan. on May 04, 2024.
