Buddhist Monks' Thudong Ritual In Indonesia
Buddhist monks are crossing the wooden footbridge on the Kaligarang River during a religious journey (Thudong) in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, on May 15, 2024. A total of 40 monks from Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia are performing Thudong from Semarang to Borobudur Temple, located in Central Java, Indonesia, to welcome Vesak, which falls on May 23, 2024.
