Three People Shot, One Dead In Shooting In Chicago Illinois
Three people are being shot in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 18, 2024. At approximately 11:33 p.m., Saturday evening, on the 500 block of N. Leamington, a verbal altercation is taking place on the sidewalk where two males are producing handguns, and one of the males is firing shots at two males in a group. A 44-year-old male is dropping a handgun after he sustains a gunshot wound to the left eye and is being transported to the hospital where he is pronounced dead. A 50-year-old male is sustaining a gunshot wound to the back and three more to the right arm and is being transported to the hospital in good condition. A 27-year-old female is walking into Loretto Hospital with a graze wound to her cheek. She is being listed in good condition, treated, and released.
