Military Picnic At Blonie In Krakow
A 120 mm RAK self-propelled mortar is being displayed at a military picnic at Blonie as part of celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino on May 18, 2024, in Krakow, Poland. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino, one of the bloodiest battles fought by Allied troops against the forces of the Third Reich during World War II, celebrations are being held on the Main Square with the participation of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. The Minister is announcing the establishment of the 2nd Polish Corps Day. The ceremony is being attended by the army, which is marching through the streets of the city.
