This total includes over 10 million foreign tourists and around 2 million Turkish citizens residing abroad, marking an 11.75 percent increase in foreign visitors compared to last year. Germany led the influx of visitors, which was followed by Russia and Iran. Istanbul remained the top destination, hosting 5.24 million foreign tourists, nearly half of all arrivals.
