Crime Scene Investigators Mark Shell Casings And Other Evidence At A Fatal Shooting In Brooklyn New York

Crime scene investigators are marking shell casings and other evidence at the scene of a shooting where one person is killed and one person is injured in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on May 24, 2024. On Friday evening, at approximately 11:56 p.m., police are responding to a shooting at 140 Moore Street in Brooklyn, New York, where a 21-year-old male is shot in the head and transported to the hospital where he is pronounced dead. A 20-year-old male is walking into the hospital with wounds from the shooting. Shell casings along with blood, a motorcycle, and a backpack are being found at the crime scene. Investigators are also focusing on a playground at the location where the shooting is taking place and placing evidence markers inside the playground. The investigation is ongoing.
