STORYLINE:
The cruise ship "Mediterranea" carrying more than 2,400 passengers docked at Tianjin International Cruise Home Port on Friday.
Among them, nearly 800 foreign tourists have enjoyed the convenience brought by the new visa-free entry policy.
China implemented a policy on May 15 allowing visa-free entry of foreign tourist groups aboard cruise ships via all cruise ship ports along the country's coastline.
Effective measures have also been introduced to provide more convenience for cross-border travel.
In 2024, Tianjin International Cruise Home Port is expected to receive 100 inbound cruise ships and more than 300,000 inbound passengers.
