Cyclone Remal
The severe cyclonic storm Remal is expected to make landfall between West Bengal's Sagar Island and the Khepupara coast near Mongla between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM on May 26, with winds of 110-120 km/h and gusts up to 135 km/h. The IMD has issued a current warning in effect until May 28, which may be extended as necessary. Since morning, the sky over West Bengal has been cloudy, with rain and gusts.
