Greece Strengthens Border Protection At The Greek And EU Borders With Turkey

Greece strengthens its surveillance capabilities to fight the increased refugee and migrants flows from Turkey with the support of technology and Frontex border agency in an effort to crackdown migration. The border protection at Greek Turkish borders in Evros region is reinforced, supported by the EU, with more Frontex personnel and vehicles, more Greek border police officers, drones, a new fence and wall, watchtowers with thermal remote cameras and radar on the tower, new combat vehicles and control rooms.
