Beachbars are occupying larger areas than their permission which do not allow people to have free access to the beach. Similar incidents occurred in Agia Anna and Plaka beach. In Naxos the movement ''Save the beaches of Naxos now!'' emerged forming a legal complaint in the prosecutor similar to Paros Island with the media known name Towel Movement led to the government to bring inspectors. Naxos is part of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, Greece on August 2023.
