Philippines: Kanlaon Volcano Eruption – Lahar Roars Through Town In La Castellana 2
Lahar, a flow of debris consisting of volcanic material, roared through a town in La Castellana near the foot of Kanlaon volcano in the Philippines' Negros island on Wednesday, June 5, two days after the volcano erupted on Monday night, sending a tall plume of ash into the sky.
Alert Level 2 is currently raised in the area due to increased volcanic unrest.
