Hundreds of members of marginalized sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics (PoMSOGIESC) are annually organizing and taking part in the parade on the second Saturday of June. Nepal is having one of the most progressive constitutions to grant rights and recognition to sexual minorities and is starting to collect data on LGBTQI+ individuals from the last census of 2021. As per the latest census of 2021, there are a total of 2,928 people who are identifying themselves as ''others'' in terms of gender or sexual orientation. (Photo by Subaas Shrestha/NurPhoto)
