Thousands of police and residents took part in silent demonstrations in Berlin on Friday, June 7, to honor the officer killed in a stabbing attack by an Afghan immigrant in Mannheim last week.
Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier attended a minute-long silence in Mannheim to pay his respects.
