(240609) -- BEIJING, June 9, 2024 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Representative to China Amakobe Sande addresses a public campaign held in Beijing, capital of China, June 7, 2024. A new public campaign was jointly launched by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Center for Women and Children's Health of the National Health Commission (NHC) and other partners on Friday to give children the best start in life. The campaign, known as "Parent with Purpose, Nurture their Future," aims to build awareness on the importance of early childhood development (ECD), and to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge, skills and tools to give their children the best start in life, by providing nurturing care during the first six years.       KYIV, UKRAINE - JUNE 21, 2024 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo Lopez-Aranda attends the ceremony to hand over 40 vehicles delivered by the United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), together with Ukraines Ministry of Health, to primary health care facilities in nine regions to support the Home Visiting Programme, a joint project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and UNICEF which aims to improve access to quality health, nutrition, and development services for children aged 0 to 3 years old, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. The vehicles were purchased with support from the Government of Spain and UNICEF National Committees in Spain and the Netherlands.
