MEXICO-MEXICO CITY-DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL-CELEBRATION

(240609) -- MEXICO CITY, June 9, 2024 (Xinhua) -- Local people try to make dragon boat models during a celebration event in Mexico City, capital of Mexico on June 8, 2024. An event to celebrate the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival was held here on Saturday. The festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunar calendar to commemorate ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan from the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.).
