Many streets in South Florida were flooded after heavy rains pounded the region on Wednesday, June 12. Gov. Ron DeSantis declared an emergency in Broward, Collier, Lee, Miami-Dade, and Sarasota counties due to significant flooding. The inclement weather caused flight disruptions at Miami International Airport and road closures, including parts of major highways.
