Anti-government rally outside of the Parliament - Yerevan
Anti-government demonstrators clash with Armenian police forces, outside of the Parliament in Yerevan, Armenia, on June 12, 2024. Police and citizens clashed on the evening of June 12 after comments made by Prime Minister Pashinyan criticizing supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement. Dozens of people were injured by explosive sound grenades after protestors tore down one of the gates outside of the Parliament leading to severe clashes. The road continues to be blocked for the third consecutive day as protestors demand the resignation of the current government.
