The Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris Asiaticus) Is A Small Bird, Measuring About 10 Centimeters Found Mainly In South And Southeast Asia, Arabian Peninsula. They Feed Mainly On Nectar But Consume Insects, Especially When Feeding Their Young. Purple Sunbirds Have A Fast And Direct Flight And Can Take Nectar By Hovering Like Hummingbirds, Though They Often Perch At The Base Of Flowers. The Breeding Male Is A Metallic Blue And Purple Overall With Maroon Feathers On The Breast.
