Rainfall Continues To Batter Southern China

Heavy rainfall that battered Shaolian Township had cut off power and telecommunication supplies in some villages. Armed police force has been carrying out clean-up work and bridge building to resume transportation in flood-affected areas. Torrential rainfall continued to lash parts of southern China on Sunday, triggering mudslides and flash floods in provinces such as Jiangxi and Hunan, where more than 10 people died.
