The freight volume passing through the Horgos Port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reached 17.518 million tonnes in the first five months of this year, an increase of 12 percent year-on-year, according to Horgos customs.
A total of 3,248 China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains passed through Horgos Port during the period, marking a year-on-year increase of 1.9 percent.
