Chinese woman dies after stabbing at stop for Japanese school bus
The Japanese national flag is flown at half-staff at the official residence of the Japanese ambassador to China in Beijing on June 28, 2024, to mourn the death of a Chinese woman who worked as an attendant on a Japanese school bus in Suzhou near Shanghai. Hu Youping, 54, died after sustaining severe injuries on June 24 while trying to shield a Japanese mother and her child from a knife attack at a bus stop in Suzhou.
