(240702) -- SUSONG, July 2, 2024 Photo by Xinhua/ABACAPRESS.COM) -- This aerial photo taken on July 2, 2024 shows patrolmen operating at the Susong section of Tongma dike of Yangtze River in Anqing City, east China's Anhui Province. An important flood control facility along the Yangtze River, the Tongma dike winds its way for over 170 kilometers in Anqing. The Susong section of Tongma dike, more than 60 kilometers in length, serves as the "first fortress" against the impact of flooding water entering Anhui along the Yangtze River. Since the water level of the Anhui section of Yangtze River exceeded the warning mark on June 30, nearly a thousand government staff and locals have been mobilized to partol the Susong section of Tongma dike round-the-clock to ensure its integrity.
