Wallabies In Rambouillet
A female wallaby is seen in the Rambouillet forest, 45km southwest of Paris, France, on July 5, 2024. In the 1970s, some twenty wallabys escaped from the Chateau Sauvage zoo in the commune of Émance, near Rambouillet. In 2015, they numbered 150 specimens. Since then, however, they have fallen victim to poaching and are gradually disappearing. Photo by Aurelien Morissard/ABACAPRESS.COM
