Protest Against LG-HY BCM, Anode Material Company, For Refusing To Recognize Labor Union In Seoul

Members of the Korea Federation of Chemical, Textile, and Food Workers' Unions and the LG-HY BCM branch are gathering in front of LG Group's headquarters in Yeouido to protest against LG-HY BCM's delay in recognizing their labor union in Seoul, South Korea, on July 25, 2024. LG-HY BCM, built with a 500 billion KRW investment by LG Chem in the Gumi National Industrial Complex, is an anode material manufacturing plant with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons, making it the world's largest single anode material plant.
