Saurya Airlines Crash: Nepal Starts Handing Over Bodies Of The Deceased To Family After Autopsy
Dead body management officials are lifting a coffin containing the body of a deceased in the Saurya Airlines crash at a morgue in Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 26, 2024. Nepal is starting to hand over the bodies of the deceased to the families for cremation after completing autopsies. The identity of victims is being established under 'Disaster Victim Identification' (DVI) by the authorities as they hand over the bodies to the families. A total of 18 people are losing their lives while the pilot is the lone survivor of the July 24 fatal air crash in the premises of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
