Over 3800 Evacuated After Dike Breach In Central China

An aerial drone photo taken on July 29, 2024 shows the scene of a dike breach in Hekou Township of Xiangtan County, central China's Hunan Province. Another dike breach occurred in the Juanshui River in central China's Hunan Province at about 1:40 p.m. on Monday, local authorities said. The breach in Hekou Township of Xiangtan County has widened to more than 30 meters, according to the provincial emergency management center.
