One person is being injured and one person is being killed in a shooting in Staten Island, New York, United States, on July 31, 2024. At approximately 5:07 a.m., Wednesday morning, the NYPD is responding to 56 Roxbury Street where police officers are locating two 28-year-old males with gunshot wounds. 28-year-old male Shamel Massie is having a gunshot wound to the head and gunshot wounds to both arms. The second 28-year-old male is having a gunshot wound to the left arm. 28-year-old male Shamel Massie is being pronounced dead on the scene, and the second 28-year-old male victim with the gunshot wound to the left arm is in stable condition at the hospital.
