NYPD Crime Scene Investigates One Person Killed And One Person Injured In Shooting In Staten Island New York

Crime scene investigators from the New York City Police Department are bringing out evidence and evidence markers as they are investigating a crime scene where one person is injured and one person is killed in a shooting in Staten Island, New York, United States, on July 31, 2024. At approximately 5:07 a.m., Wednesday morning, the NYPD is responding to 56 Roxbury Street where police officers are locating two 28-year-old males with gunshot wounds. 28-year-old male Shamel Massie has a gunshot wound to the head and gunshot wounds to both arms. The second 28-year-old male has a gunshot wound to the left arm. 28-year-old male Shamel Massie is pronounced dead on scene, and the second 28-year-old male victim with the gunshot wound to the left arm is in stable condition at the hospital.
