Underground internet cables
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corp. on Aug. 22, 2024, unveils to the media an underground tunnel in Osaka where optical fiber cables for internet and phone cables are laid. NTT West said the tunnel is designed to withstand an earthquake with an intensity of 7, the highest level on Japan's seismic scale.
