Indonesia: Protests Erupt Over Election Law Changes
Thousands of demonstrators gathered outside the Indonesian parliament in Jakarta on Thursday, August 22, to protest over controversial election law changes.
Police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters who attempted to storm the parliament building after they tore down fences and threw stones at officers.
