Caribbean Parade US

A general view of the annual Labor Day Parade, celebrating its 57th year, in Brooklyn, New York, on September 2, 2024, shows Eastern Parkway transformed into a kaleidoscope of feather-covered costumes and colorful flags as participants march down the thoroughfare alongside floats filled with loudspeakers blaring soca and reggae music. The parade routinely draws large crowds, which throng along the nearly two-mile route from Crown Heights to the Brooklyn Museum. It is also a popular destination for local politicians, many of whom are of West Indian descent or represent members of the city's large Caribbean community. (Photo by Deccio Serrano/NurPhoto)
