Death Toll In Israeli Attacks Crosses 500 Lebanon

Displaced people line up to buy bread in Sidon, Lebanon, on September 24, 2024. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Lebanese people on Tuesday that attacks on Lebanon will continue. He reiterated a call made on Monday for civilians to evacuate homes where Hezbollah has allegedly stored missiles. The death toll from Israeli airstrikes there crossed 500 after the country's deadliest day in decades. After some of the heaviest cross-border exchanges of fire since hostilities flared in October, Israel demanded people in Lebanon to evacuate homes and other buildings.
