The Shri Muniswaren Festival
On September 28, 2024, Tamil Hindus from the Shri Muniswaren Temple in Medan Polonia, North Sumatra, Indonesia, commemorate Lord Muniswaren's birthday by beating drums and marching to various areas. Polonia settlements head, Dedy Wahyu Utama, respects the heterogeneity of religions in this celebration event and supports cultural diversity, which shows in the fashion during the celebrations.
