Prince Albert II At Council Of Europe - Strasbourg

Secretary General Alain Berset and Prince Albert II of Monaco met as part of the Sovereign Prince's visit to the Council of Europe to celebrate the Principality of Monaco's 20th anniversary of membership. During the meeting, they discussed Monaco's contribution to the work of the Council of Europe, the importance of multilateralism, the Organization's priorities and current challenges, notably the decline in democracy and the various conflicts and wars in Europe and around the world. On this occasion, Monaco donated to the Council of Europe a collaborative work of art entitled Ode to Freedom, created by urban artist Anthony Alberti, alias Mr One Teas.
