Mashaal & Swastik Raas In Jamnagar
Mashaal Raas is a traditional garba dance that the people of Saurashtra preserve. In Mashaal Raas, young men dressed in traditional attire dance amidst swastikas, using fire torches and performing various dance steps. At the end, they spread flammable material on the ground and dance on the fire. This art form has been performed in Jamnagar, India, since 1957 and symbolizes strength, courage, and devotion.
