Russian Airstrikes Kill 10 in Northwestern Syria
A members of Syria's White Helmets civil defence force rescues victims at the scene of a Russian airstrike which destroyed a furniture workshop on the outskirts of the rebel-held northwestern Syrian city of Idlib on October 17, 2024, killing at least 10 people and wounding 30 others, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Russian military, which is allied with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has not commented on the bombardment.
