Russian Airstrikes Kill 10 in Northwestern Syria
Members of Syria's White Helmets civil defence force work on removing victims from under the rubble of a furniture workshop on the outskirts of the rebel-held northwestern Syrian city of Idlib on October 17, 2024, following Russian strikes on sites in the area which killed at least 10 people and wounded 30 others, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Russian military, which is allied with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has not commented on the bombardment.
