A week after Storm Kirk, the rains of recent days continue to have consequences on waterlogged soils. Faced with new rainy episodes, the towns of GiF sur Yvette, Saint Remy les Chevreuse, Bures sur Yvette and Orsay are once again placed on Orange flood alert. In Gif sur Yvette the water continues to rise in the town center forcing the SIAHVY (Intercommunal Union for Hydraulic Development of the Yvette Valley) to broadcast an alert message by SMS.
