Tree of Memory installation unveiled in Zaporizhzhia

ZAPORIZHZHIA, UKRAINE - OCTOBER 18, 2024 - The Tree of Memory installation by Ukrainian stage designer, actor and theatre director Dmytro Kostiumynskyi is being unveiled in Metalurhiv (Metallurgists) Park during the GogolFest Contemporary Art Festival, Zaporizhzhia, southeastern Ukraine. The nine-meter installation pays tribute to the fallen defenders of Ukraine. It is a metal tree with branches engraved with the names of Ukrainian heroes.
