New business park in Osaka

Photo taken on Sept. 6, 2024, shows Umekita Park, a new business complex directly connected to JR Osaka Station in the western Japan city. The 45,000-square-meter park, opening as part of the Grand Green Osaka project ahead of the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, will house offices of major companies and hotels as well as facilities for startup firms, with 50 million people expected to visit in fiscal 2027, when the park is scheduled to be completed.

        Marunouchi Oazo is new face of JR Tokyo Station

        TOKYO, Japan - An aerial photo of Marunouchi Oazo, a commercial complex just north of JR Tokyo Station, which opened on Sept. 14. The complex, consisting of five buildings, is built on the 24,000-square-meter former site of the headquarters of the defunct Japanese National Railways. Oazo means 'oasis' in Esperanto.
