For the past two days, the Maurepas district of Rennes has been the scene of gunfire and clashes between rival gangs over drug trafficking. On Saturday October 26, a 5-year-old child was shot twice in the head while riding in a car with his father. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau announced the deployment of a CRS 82 team dedicated to urban violence and drug trafficking.
