20 Days After the Passage of The Dana in Valencia
Two workers clean graffiti from the Palau de la Generalitat, on November 18, 2024, in Valencia, Valencia, Spain. Of the 218 people killed by the DANA, 68 bodies were found inside homes and up to 32 in garages. Outside, at least 45 were found in the street and in the countryside. The Valencian towns where most of these lifeless bodies were recovered were Paiporta (45), Catarroja (25), Valencia (16), Alfafar (15), Massanassa (12) and Picanya, Torrent and Benetússer with 10.
