A giant fresco in homage to the rescuers of SOS Mediterranee - Marseille
A giant mural in tribute to the rescuers of the SOS Méditerranée boat by artist Mahn Kloix replaces the emblematic Zinedine Zidane poster on a wall of the Corniche Kennedy in Marseille, France on November 18, 2024. The work pays tribute to the SOS Méditerranée rescuers and their humanitarian mission in the Mediterranean. Depicting a volunteer from the association observing the horizon with binoculars, this 12-metre-high fresco highlights the commitment of the NGO, which has been active since 2016 in rescuing migrants in distress at sea.
