Pro-EU protests in Tbilisi continued into a fifth day on Monday, December 2. Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse demonstrators who had gathered at the parliament building every night since Thursday, when the ruling Georgian Dream party declared its decision to put EU accession talks on hold.
