Nobel Peace Prize exhibition in Oslo
Photo taken on the opening day of the Nobel Peace Prize exhibition on Dec. 11, 2024, at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo shows 1,000 wooden slats representing 1,000 testimonies from survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, created by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The exhibition, running through November 2025, has about 100 items on display including some related to Nihon Hidankyo, Japan's leading atomic bomb survivors group and winner of the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize, whose award ceremony was held on Dec. 10.
