Woman Dead After Being Lit On Fire By Man As She Slept On An F MTA Subway Train In Coney Island Section Of Brooklyn New York
A woman dies after being set on fire by a man aboard an MTA subway train as she sleeps at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, New York, United States, on December 22, 2024. On Sunday morning at approximately 7:29 a.m., an unidentified woman is sleeping aboard a stationary ''F'' train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station when an unknown male individual approaches and sets her on fire. The individual then leaves the subway car. EMS pronounces the victim dead at the scene. The suspect is described as a man, 5'6'' tall, 150 lbs., and approximately 25-30 years old.
